Our in-house team means you can ensure your project will be completed on time and to the highest quality and standards.

What is Prefabrication?

Pipework prefabrication is a crucial aspect of modern construction and engineering projects. The process involves the manufacturing of piping systems off-site, which are then transported to site, and installed by others. We’re pleased to offer our prefabrication services which offers many benefits for our customers, including cost savings, improved quality, and faster project completion times.

The prefabrication of pipework involves a highly specialised process that requires a team of skilled professionals, state-of-the-art technology, and specialised equipment – all of which we pride ourselves on.

What is the Prefabrication Process?

The process begins with detailed design plans that outline the exact specifications of the piping system required. These plans are then sent to our prefabrication facility, along with any schematics, where they are reviewed by a team of engineers who create the detailed spool drawings needed for the manufacturing process.

Once the drawings are completed, the materials required for the piping system are either pulled from stock, or sourced and ordered.

The prefabrication process involves the cutting, assembly, and welding of the piping system according to the detailed drawings and schematics. The completed system is then subjected to quality control inspections to ensure it meets all required standards and specifications.

Once the pipework is completed, it’s packaged and shipped to the construction site via our very own fleet of FORS Silver accredited vehicles, ensuring they are always delivered safely and on time.
