Pipework Prefabrication Projects

Let’s take a look at some projects where our pipework played a crucial role in the construction works.

Silverstone

In 2023 we saw the launch of Aston Martin’s brand new facility at Silverstone.

Abbey Pipework Fabricators were delighted to provide the brand new facility (covering an incredible 400,000 square feet) with prefabricated pipework.

Working from initial sketches, we were delighted to fabricate pipework for the new site. We provided CHW & LTHW pipework at 21/2”nb and above for the Air Source Heat Pumps, AHU and Fan Coil Circuits. Once the pipework was fabricated, we then arranged for it to be dropped off at the facility to be installed by our client.

The Shard

Abbey Pipework Fabricators had the pleasure of being involved in the construction of the UK’s tallest building.

Construction for The Shard began in March 2009 and was officially completed in November 2012. We supplied the building with low temperature hot water (LTHW) and chilled water (CHW) pipework in 21/2”NB to 16”NB.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

As the third largest football stadium in the UK, we were pleased to work on the construction of the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

We provided the stadium with low temperature hot water (LTHW), chilled water (CHW) and gas pipes in 21/2”NB to 12”NB.
